You say BAILOUT I say DELAYOUT!
2008-09-27Ahh the Republican trumpets of doom are heard loud and clear through the amplified media wool being pulled over our eyes. The message? If we don’t “bail out” irresponsible and corrupt companies who caused this financial mess the entire economic system is likely to fail, really?
Is it really just that simple? That is what the Republican mob is trying to convince everyone to believe. This bailout is nothing more then a delay, you don’t just change gravity when something is falling, sure you can cushion the blow, put a few pillows down but that shit is still going down! It’s falling and failing and no amount of capital can patch the dam, it can only slow the drain.
The delayout is being forced so quickly through Congress that no one has time to evaluate the damage it may cause in the future and once again the rich have imposed a form of financial socialism on the middle class and the poor. SHARE THE DEBT! It’s anti capitalist and it’s anti American! A firm that is failing should DIE, so there can be room for competitors to step in and provide a better service, which is what creates a healthy market place.
It’s just wrong to call this a bailout, which is why I call it a delayout, no one is being bailed out you don’t solve a financial crisis by throwing MORE money at the problem, it’s wasteful and puts the American taxpayer into financial debt that is, dare I say it, a form of financial slavery.
